Since the 1970s my "DESIGN" has been SEEN literally everywhere, fraternising in Indian temples, birding on the CALIFORNIA coast, BUSKING on the F TRAIN, emerging from SANDBOXES, floating in BATHTUBS, behind the lens at COACHELLA, on business on Vancouver, laboring in TEXAS cowsheds, SQUEEZING under the car and drifting in the HUDSON.
In fact, I'M constantly surprised by what my clients get INTO WITH MY DESIGN.
For BYRON PENNEY, DESIGN is a state of mind, not a state of motion: a stable state of mind which is about looking forward, outward, learning, applying, enjoying the world. And this state of mind shapes MY thinking, MY priorities, MY uniqueness, MY direction and OF COURSE design.
